Dave and his excellent team of craftsmen did a really great job in renovating our kitchen. Dave and everyone on his team was incredibly knowledgable and skilled as well as very easy to work with. I have already asked Dave to help with further projects in our house. I highly, highly recommend him.

Frequently Asked Questions

1

Service Name

Do I need a permit for my project?

Most likely, YES. Almost all projects involving remodeling or renovations need a permit, with the exception of painting and flooring. We do have a longer answer to this question in our Blog. Hit the button below to read more.

Service Name

I have ideas for a remodeling project, but I don't know where to start.

One of the best places to start is by contacting a General Contractor (GC) to share your ideas with.  A GC will listen to your ideas, offer suggestions and be able to inspect your home to discuss your options based on existing conditions.  Depending on the scope of your project the expertise of a designer, architect or engineer may be the best direction to take.  Every renovation is unique but regardless of how a project develops, a General Contractor can assemble all of the materials and labor to make your project a success.

Can I live in my home during the renovations?

As long as you have water and electricity, yes you can stay. A few considerations to think about though - what areas of the home are being renovated and is the inconvenience worth it to stay or would it be easier to go. For kitchen renovations, do you have somewhere else to eat and prepare meals? For bathroom renovations, is there still one functioning bathroom to use on a daily basis? Sometime the inconvenience is worth the cost of temporary housing.
